Dear Parents,
You have survived another week of working with your own child, whilst simultaneously holding together the rest of your life - congratulations!
I have been looking at examples of the children's work across the entire school and cannot believe the variety, creativity and quality of the activities the children have been undertaking at home.
Unlike our normal newsletters, this consists mainly of photographs of the children and their work. We simply don't have space for every child this week, but children who are not represented this week, will appear in next week's newsletter. I hope you enjoy looking through the wonderful tapestry of pictures below.
I have been incredibly grateful for my small garden and have enjoyed watching the plants explode into life; something that under normal circumstances I would only see at weekends. Small things give so much pleasure. I hope that despite the inevitable pressures you are facing, you are also enjoying this time with your children. It is a moment that you will remember forever.
A reminder that next Friday, 8th May, is a bank holiday. Although officially there is no school, our teachers will upload activities. Engagement in them is optional but it would be a shame to miss Matthew's music lessons. The teachers won't be on-call on the Friday, but they will respond to any uploaded work and photographs on Monday.
I don't underestimate for a second the work you are doing to support your child's learning. Thank you all.
Kate
